Accessibility Statement
Last updated: Oct 25, 2026.
The Waise team ("Waise") wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use the Waise website, the terms and privacy pages, and the sign-up and sign-in screens. This statement covers the platform website, not the stores that merchants build with Waise.
1. Level of accessibility
We are committed to making the site accessible under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and we work to make it conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
The review so far was an internal one by the Waise team, not an audit by a certified accessibility consultant. Some parts may not yet fully meet the standard.
2. What we have done
- Keyboard: the site can be used without a mouse, focus is clearly visible, and there is a "Skip to content" link at the top of each page.
- Structure and screen readers: ordered headings, named navigation regions, page language and text direction are set, and form fields have labels.
- Alternative text: images that carry information have alternative text; purely decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
- Colour and legibility: colour contrast in text and buttons, and live text rather than text in images, so it can be enlarged in the browser.
- Motion: for people who set "reduce motion" on their device, animations on the site are stopped or reduced.
- Devices: the site adapts to computer, tablet and phone, in portrait and landscape.
3. Known limitations
- The demo film on the home page and content embedded from outside services (such as videos and payment): they may lack full captions or transcripts, and we do not control their accessibility.
- Some demonstrations on the site show product screens as images or animation. The written description next to them carries the main information, but not always all of it.
- The store admin and account screens after sign-in are reviewed separately and are still being adapted.
- PDF files or other files uploaded by merchants are not under our control.
4. Date of the last review
The site was last reviewed on Oct 21, 2026.
5. Accessibility coordinator
Accessibility requests reach the Waise team through the support screen in your store's admin (Pulse), or the contact page.
6. Found a problem?
If something on the site is not accessible to you, or you need the information in another format, write or call the accessibility coordinator. Please include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you use. We will reply within 14 days and fix any issue found as soon as we can. If the fix takes time, we will offer another way to get the service in the meantime.
